Nordanstigs kommun and other municipalities in the Avfall Hälsingland waste consortium are procuring collection, transport and processing of rigid plastic from four recycling centres (Nordanstig, Hudiksvall, Ljusdal and Söderhamn). Denna upphandling genomförs gemensamt av kommunerna inom Avfall Hälsingland.Avfallet inkommer till respektive återvinningscentral vilket sorteras och mellanlagras inom anläggningen för att möjliggöra återvinning. Avfallet kommer från företag, kommuner, butiker och privatpersoner. Uppdraget består av att hämta, transportera och omhänderta hårdplast för återvinning. Hämtning samt transport kommer att ske från Hälsinglands återvinningscentraler, Nordanstig, Hudiksvall, Ljusdal samt Söderhamn.
