Region Östergötland avser att upphandla Diabeteshjälpmedel. Upphandlingen kommer att avse blodsocker/blodketon-stickor med blodsockermätare/ blodketonmätare, lancetter till blodprovtagare för flergångsbruk, blodprovstagare för engångsbruk, pennkanyler, säkerhetspennkanyler samt insulinsprutor. Upphandlingen avser alltså inte teknisk utrustning, så som insulinpumpar etc.
