Region västerbotten avser att köpa ett behandlingsystem för högdosrats-brachy inklusive dosplaneringssystem, kringutrustning, säkerhetssystem och installation. Brachysystemet ska kunna användas i två olika befintliga behandlingsrum. De avsedda behandlingrummen används idag uteslutande för extern strålbehandling med linjäraccelerator. Installationen ska utföras så att det är möjligt att samnyttja behandlingsrummet för brachybehandling och extern strålbehandling.
